FOUR | FOUR signs Tim Rogers.

New album ‘Rogers Sings Rogerstein’ out August 24th

National tour through August, September, October

Newly created imprint label FOUR | FOUR, which operates under the ABC Music banner, has just signed Australian music icon Tim Rogers.

FOUR | FOUR is a new imprint on ABC Music, a home for the more left-of-centre acts this dynamic label is looking to cultivate an environment where artists and bands can prosper and grow, nurtured by the longest running independent label in Australia.

Tim Rogers, the man with the tunes, chutzpah, style and stage ownership, the man we know, respect and love is preparing to push off from the dock with a new record ‘Rogers Sings Rogerstein’ and national tour and head for the high seas of all things good and worth living for. Tim embarks on the latest phase in a career that has had it all, almost won it all and almost lost it all but he is most definitely revered by all as one of Australia’s great creative forces.

Rogers Sings Rogerstein’ new album is out August 24th through FOUR | FOUR.

SPLIT END TOUR: BOY IN A BOX vs KINGSWOOD

wo bands alike in virtue and acclaim will be going at it head to head to form the SPLIT ENDS 2012 tour. Presented by Tonedeaf, this fight for ultimate supremacy will see the contenders using every dirty trick in the book (and a few that aren’t) to win the favour of the good people as they streak around the country this August/September.

In the blue corner; Boy In A Box. With a new EP to offer and something to prove, Boy In A Box have been getting huge raps of late for their catchy as hell single ‘On My Mind’ as well as their incendiary live shows. Already no strangers to big stages, Boy In A Box have toured alongside the likes of Birds Of Tokyo and Calling All Cars, as well as appearing at Falls Festival in its 2011 incarnation.

In the red corner; Kingswood. Fresh from the battlefield of This Epic Tour alongside Money For Rope, the four-piece are teeth-gnashingly ready to take on all comers with no quarter asked and none to be given. With more than a few recent wins under their collective belt including slabs of national airplay for their recent singles ‘Yeah Go Die’ and ‘Medusa’, the band has also been given the green light to kick off main stage proceedings at the 2012 Splendour In The Grass festival.

A co-headline tour without recent parallel, SPLIT ENDS 2012, kicks off in Sydney this August 23before taking in Newcastle and Adelaide followed by a hometown showdown in Melbourne. And while the competition will likely be too close to call, there is a good chance that there will be blood.

Hear their singles here!
