DAMIEN DEMPSEY returns to Australia this November to play just three headline shows.

Damien toured Australia in March this year including a sold out show at Sydney Opera House on St Patricks Day and a packed out tent at Blues Fest. He returns to Melbourne to perform at the prestigious Australian World Music Expo with his band.

And don’t miss your chance to catch Ireland’s finest singer-songwriter up close and personal as he performs his solo show in the intimate settings of The Vanguard, Sydney, and The Cab Bar at Rosie O’Grady’s Northbridge, Perth.

2013 has seen Damien play a host of Irish, UK and European headline shows and festival dates alongside his spring-time Australian tour. He supported Bruce Springsteen at his Kilkenny Stadium show and headlined his biggest Dublin show to date at the Iveagh Gardens. He heads to the US in September to undertake a headline tour.

The Tiger & Me reveal July + August Tour dates & release new single

558792_10151173517508883_756168269_n
Jack Middle of the Broken Heart’ is the new single from Melbourne shape-shifters The Tiger & Me. The track comes from the band’s second full length album, ‘The Drifter’s Dawn’, produced by Steven Schram (Little Birdy, The Cat Empire, San Cisco) and released under ABC Music imprint FourIFour.

Set over the grooving bass-line and driving guitars, the lyrics tell the tale of a modern day Bonnie and Clyde. Included as the B-side is a much smokier version of the tune recorded by the band before the Drifter’s sessions.

Once again, The Tiger & Me are ready to get their show on the road, with a string of live dates supporting the release of ‘Jack Middle of the Broken Heart’.

“Driven by the trio of voices, which partner effortlessly with the underlying music, the record sometimes thunders, it sometimes whispers, the plethora of melody, the hooks, bringing you back for more, sticking in your brain as good pop should”
– Sydney Morning Herald, 2013

The Snowdroppers Present the Moving Out National Tour!

Dinner time Lo res
After your excellent feedback and some inspired band meetings (held over the finest cans of European export lager), we’ve decided that the third and final single from our sexy sophomore album ‘Moving Out of Eden’ will be ‘So Much Better’, and we’ve organized a National Moving Out Tour to bring it to you live this September!

‘So Much Better’ (at making each other feel worse) is a dancy little ditty about how much easier it is to twist a knife into someone when they’re someone you love. It celebrates the fact that as we learn to love, we learn to hurt. The Snowdroppers endorse learning in all its facets. It also has some sweet bass licks in the outro.
We’re going to spend what’s left of 2013 traveling around with our best rock n roll pals Gay Paris and a pantload of other like-minded bands. Once the tour is over we’ll return to the writing dungeon for album #3, so this may be your last chance for a while to come and get down with us!

LISTEN TO ‘SO MUCH BETTER’ HERE:

“Full of catchy upbeat tracks and a few to tug a worn out heart string, the 10 track LP [Moving Out of Eden] will leave you feeling dirty, sleazy with a good kick in the face… in the best way possible.” – The AU Review

“The release [Moving Out of Eden] is being praised as a much more streamlined version of the swampy, bluesy vibe. In other words, they’ve kept the balls, but found a much more grounded way to use them.” – Music Feeds

“The new tracks show their movement into a more defined rock genre – good old Aussie rock n roll that is refreshingly honest and gets you out of your seat and dancing your ass off.” – Push To Fire
